Aloxy is expanding into Singapore; valve position sensor is IMDA certified

Aloxy is happy to announce that the Aloxy valve position sensor is now also IMDA registered for usage in Singapore. The Aloxy pulse is registered at the Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) under the registration number N1730-22. Telecommunication and radio-communication equipment to be sold for local use in Singapore is subject to equipment registration with IMDA. This is an area-specific certification, next to the existing intrinsic safe ATEX Zone 1,2 / IECEx Class 1 certifications.

The Aloxy valve position sensor operates on LoRaWAN and DASH7 on the 920 - 925 MHz open band. The sensor communicates wireless though private or public LPWAN networks making it easy to implement in existing brown field installations.

First batch of sensors is delivered to Singapore for a project at one of the largest Oil&Gas sites in Singapore and a second and third order is booked already. Aloxy's initial success with European and North American customers has led to this expansion into other regions like Singapore. Both European as US customers with large operations in Singapore expressed interest to scale up in this region and projects are being set up to introduce our valve position solution to the local sites. Singapore is an important hub in the region with a lot of potential for further growth and we look forward to continue our journey in Asia to enable industrial IoT.

We will continue to expand our list of area-specific certifications into Asia and South America.
